LA2L was founded in 2009 by designer Marie-Hélène Spitzer. After studying applied arts and gaining experience in fashion and design, she decided to launch her own brand. Her childhood, spent partly in Africa and partly in France, remains a lasting source of inspiration for her work.

The name LA2L is a play on the French “La Deuxième Lune” – the second moon – and symbolises the mysterious, dreamlike universe of the brand.
Artisanal craftsmanship from Paris
Every piece of jewellery by LA2L is designed by Marie-Hélène herself and handcrafted in the Parisian workshop on rue Marguerite de Rochechouart. This artisanal process guarantees not only high quality, but also a unique character: no mass production, just jewellery created with care and soul.
LA2L works exclusively with high-quality materials such as gold-plated brass, semi-precious stones and coloured enamel. The stones – including amethyst, rose quartz and serpentine – are carefully selected for their colour, appearance and meaning. Many of these gemstones originate from India.
